DIY Necklace Organizer

Happy day out there!

What makes me happy today is my recent DIY project.  In our walk in closet I have my vanity and makeup collection as well as our clothes, shoes, etc.  I wanted to have somewhere to see all of my necklaces as I love to incorporate them into my daily looks, but often forgot what I had.  I searched on Pinterest and didnt really see what I was looking for.  Walking through Target I saw an accessory rack and got inspired.  Here is what i came up with.  

 I believe i spent 4.99 on this organizer.  Before my awesome Target find I was thinking about making something out of a curtain rod and curtain hooks (found on Pinterest), however i have a relatively small space to work with here and knew i needed something more compact.  I am so happy with this.  I have had my necklaces here for about a week and a half and really use them so much more, and that's what they are there for!

Hello again!

I had a lot of ideas for my first (real) blog.  I wanted to post about some things that just make me happy...my first thought was i should pour myself some coffee and get started... so here we are!  With three kids under 7 I am always in the need for a pick me up.  The first thing i do each morning, or middle of the night with the baby, is sleepily head for this baby.

I love you coffee machine.  This is something that truly makes me happy because happy families start with awake mommy's.  I recently had to put my other kuerig out to pasture after 3 years.  I got this teal one and love the color and it's always fun to have something new, right!?  I am not a grumpy morning person (I don't think) but my kids and husband do always have this ready to go for me when they are up first :) I've trained them well!

Hello everyone!
I am so excited to start this blog!  This is going to be about a lifestyle, not the right lifestyle for everyone, but what works for me and my family.  I am a mother of three crazy kiddos, a wife, a makeup junkie, a runner, an outdoor girly girl.  I love music, sometimes i love to cook, I love to laugh and smile, I'm no where near perfect.  I make mistakes and always try to learn from them, blush is my favorite makeup to buy, and i love red wine.  All 4 seasons are my favorite season.  I love and believe in music and the way it makes you feel.  I am an eternal optimist and someone who enjoys the small things. I love to decorate and make our house a home.  I have so many ideas of what I will be sharing in the future and can't wait to get started!  If any of these things sound like something you like, then stay tuned and thanks for visiting my first blog!
